Anna Grega Passed Away

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Frends,

We received the sad word of the recent passing of a former student of WPSBC.  Her name was Anna Grega and she attended our school in the 1940s.  Anna was 82 years old.  However, we know of no living relatives.  So we’re sending Anna’s memorial check to the Tiny Tots Fund at WPSBC.  Rest in comfort, Anna.

Sevelia Allen Passed Away

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

I’m sorry to report that we recently learned that class of 1963 graduate Sevelia Allen died in February, 2010.  Upon her graduation, she moved to Washington, DC to work for the federal government.  But we’ve had little communication with her since then.  So a memorial check for $60 in her honor will be sent to the school; to be deposited in the Robert Flanigan Tiny Tot fund.  May she rest in peace.

Louis Zasadni Passed Away

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

We received word in the past few days that class of 1948 graduate Louis Zasadni died recently.  This loss saddens and rudely reminds us, with ever increasing frequency, how our body of living former students dwindles more and more each year.  So I hope that as many of you as are able, will attend our next alumni convention in August, 2010, to renew and strengthen old ties, and form new friendships and bonds.  We’re a shrinking population.  So let’s get the most out of our remaining years as an organization; let’s all get together this summer at the convention, and party and reminisce.

Take care.
